Step 1: Enable Developer Options

Go to Settings > About phone > tap on “Build number” seven times until you see the message “You are now a developer!”.
Step 2: Enable USB Debugging

Go to Settings > System > Developer options > toggle on “USB debugging”.
Step 3: Enable OEM Unlocking (for some models)

In the same Developer options menu, toggle on “OEM unlocking”.
Step 4: Install ADB and Fastboot on your PC

Download and install ADB and Fastboot on your PC. You can find the download link and installation instructions from the Android Developer website.
Step 5: Connect your Google Pixel phone to your PC

Use a USB cable to connect your Google Pixel phone to your PC.
Step 6: Open Command Prompt or Terminal

Open the Command Prompt on Windows or Terminal on macOS/Linux.
Step 7: Enable DIAG mode

Type the following command in the Command Prompt or Terminal and press Enter:

adb shell

su

resetprop ro.bootmode usbradio
resetprop ro.build.type userdebug
setprop sys.usb.config diag,diag_mdm,adb
diag_mdlog

Step 8: Verify DIAG mode

To verify if DIAG mode is enabled, type the following command and press Enter:

If you see your device listed with “device” status, then you have successfully enabled DIAG mode on your Google Pixel phone.

Restoring a QCN file on Google Pixel using the QFIL tool requires the following steps:
